| Volunteering is becoming more and more popular all over the world. Over the last few weeks we have had lots of enquires from people wanting to volunteer at our orphanage. As a result we have now added an online Volunteer Application Form for our website. |

We are currently trying to connect with other aid organizations, orphanages, orphan related non-profits, NGO’s and volunteering or charity groups within India. Our hope is that through unity with others who have similar goal (the care of orphan children) we can help each other to be more effective. |

We were blessed yesterday when the CEO of the local NHPC (National Hydro Power Corporation) along with several others came to celebrate his daughters birthday with our children. They brought sweets, biscuits and samosa's (curry puffs) for all of the children as well as for the people of our leper colony. Over the last few years the people of the local NHPC have been great supporters of ours and have brought gifts, treats and clothes for our children on more than one occasion. Currently the NHPC is working towards providing all of the electrical fittings and wiring for our new leper colony as well as providing the electricians to fit it all.
